ACCEPTABLE AIRCRAFT FOR MSFS (Updated 21March 2024)

MSFS is limited in the aircraft availability and we wish to support our pilots in this sim. Until Buffalo fleet options become available in MSFS, the following are permitted substitutes. This list will be amended as new freeware and payware options become available. 

IMPORTANT: As smartCARS does not indicate which sim has been used, and to avoid any confusion for HUB managers when reviewing Pireps, pilots using a substitute aircraft in MSFS MUST add a comment to that effect in the pirep before submitting.

MSFS Default Substitutable Aircraft

Savage Cub for the CH7A Aeronca 7AC and CNUK Fleet 80 Canuck

Cessna 172 for the C185 (recommend Amphibian mod) 

DA62 for the B55/58 and Cessna 310 (should member only have MSFS standard)

B55/58 for the Cessna 310 (should member only have above MSFS standard)

Bell 407 for the Bell 206

King Air 350 for the King Air A90 (BE9L), King Air A100 (BE10) and Beech 1900D (B190)
